the daily painting, on a screen on the wall.

an e-paper display, the kind that looks like real paper. once a day it requests the new art of the day from the n450s backend, renders it, and goes back to sleep.

the why

the daily piece deserved a home that isn't a phone. e-paper because it doesn't glow, doesn't blink, doesn't ask for attention. it just sits there until the next morning.
